Delivered (limited)
On Pinterest's Trial access, Pins are visible to their creator only until Pinterest grants Standard access.
How posts get there
API v5: image Pins from a public image URL (or inline for local stills) and video Pins via media registration → upload → processing → POST /v5/pins; read back by Pin id. Each destination names the board (boards are listed from the account).
Limits we enforce
- Caption
- 800 characters
- Video size
- up to 2 GB
- Video length
- 4 s to 15 min
- Video formats
- MOV, MP4, X-M4V
- Image size
- up to 20 MB
Trial access: 1,000 requests/day per app and 300 Pin/board writes per day; Standard access: 100 writes per minute per user. The engine spaces Pins one minute apart per account by default.
Platform review
Pinterest reviews apps for Standard access; Trial access publishes only for the app owner's own accounts.
PinterestMake something worth sharing. We'll bring back the proof.
No card. The trial's end date is shown up front, and when it ends publishing simply pauses until you choose a plan.
