Switching from another tool
Imports run from the workspace's Import page (or POST /api/v1/workspaces/{ws}/imports/preview then …/imports/{id}/commit). Every import previews first; each row ends scheduled, draft, parked for your decision, rejected (with the reason and a downloadable CSV of those rows), or already imported. Re-importing the same file changes nothing. Times in the past become drafts labelled “was due …” and never publish at import. You declare the file's timezone once; a time that a daylight-saving change makes ambiguous waits for you to pick. Accounts match by exact @handle or a mapping you confirm — never a guess — and confirmed mappings are remembered.
Every receipt says: “Imported from <source> on <date>. Content and schedule were copied from your <source> export. A1 Lane has NOT verified these posts with the platforms; delivery verification happens at publish time, as with any post.”
Hootsuite
Export your Planner as CSV (Planner → Export → CSV) and import it with source “Hootsuite”. Content, media links and scheduled times carry over; approval history and team comments do not (each such row says so). Hootsuite's media links work for 7 days after the export: give the export date, and a row whose link has expired or is dead is rejected naming the cause — never imported as text only. Multi-image posts become drafts listing every image URL.
Buffer
Buffer has no export of its queue, so there is no one-click Buffer migration. Copy each queued post from Buffer's Publish tab into Buffer's own bulk template (Text, Image URL, Tags, Posting Time) and import it with source “CSV”, choosing the account the rows belong to. Tags become labels, not hashtags. Buffer's published-posts export can be imported with source “Buffer (published posts export)”: every row becomes a draft marked “caption may be incomplete — verify before scheduling”.
Later
Later offers no export of scheduled posts, so there is no Later importer — this is a manual checklist.
- In Later, open the Media Library and download the photos and videos your scheduled posts use.
- Open Later's Calendar and copy each post's caption and date/time into the A1 Lane CSV template (columns: caption, destinations, scheduled_at, media_url). Use your connected @handle in destinations.
- Put each file at a public https link (or upload it to the A1 Lane library and use its media_id).
- Import the CSV here with source “CSV”, declare the timezone your Later calendar uses, preview, and commit. Past times become drafts; nothing publishes until it validates.
Metricool and Postiz
Not available yet: we have not verified their export formats. Use the CSV template meanwhile; A1 Lane does not claim an importer it has not tested.
