Bluesky setup

Route

AT Protocol: posts are repository records created under a client-minted record key, read back from the account's own PDS; images as blobs, video through the Bluesky video service; replies carry thread parts and the first comment.

Connecting

No app registration and no central review: connect with the account's handle and an app password (Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords). The PDS defaults to bsky.social and is discovered from the account.

No server variables are needed for this platform; the credential is verified against the platform before it is stored, then encrypted at rest.

Scopes

App password (full posting rights; no DM access unless enabled on the app password).

Limits the engine enforces

5,000 write points per hour and 35,000 per day per account (a post is 3 points); video uploads have daily count/byte allowances read before upload.

Review gate

None. Bluesky-hosted accounts must have a verified email before uploading video. A listing of our assistant connector in any AI directory does not change this: directory approval is not platform approval.
