Discord setup
Route
Incoming webhook: Execute Webhook with wait=true (Discord confirms the message was saved), mentions disabled so a scheduled post never pings @everyone; media uploads as a file attachment (videos play inline). Verified by reading the message back through the same webhook (Get Webhook Message).
Connecting
No app registration and no review: in Discord open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook, choose the channel, copy the webhook URL and paste it here (optionally with a thread id). The URL is a secret — anyone holding it can post to that channel — so it is stored encrypted and never shown again.
No server variables are needed for this platform; the credential is verified against the platform before it is stored, then encrypted at rest.
Scopes
None: an incoming webhook posts to exactly one channel.
Limits the engine enforces
2,000 characters per message; 20 MiB per file (the default — a boosted server may allow more, but a webhook cannot read that, so larger files are refused before sending); the engine paces posts per webhook and honours Discord's retry_after.
Review gate
None. Discord has no approval clock for incoming webhooks: the channel works the moment the URL is verified. A listing of our assistant connector in any AI directory does not change this: directory approval is not platform approval.
